Artist Statement:
A while ago I received a box filled with Kodak Color slides and a few random papers. I knew nothing about who took the images, when or why they were abandoned by their owners. I went through the boxes, held the slides to the light, to find a unique and sensitive photographer. The documents all stated the name Mary, which might to might not be relevant to these photos, but in my mind Mary was behind them and it was my job to create something new from her forgotten work.
